By purchasing any products from this Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and the Laws of the Republic of Kenya.
1. LEGAL REGISTRATION & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Savana Story is a fully registered business entity operating under the laws of Kenya. Ownership details are as follows:
Proprietary Content: All source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics on the Site are owned or controlled by us.
Trademarks: The "Savana Story" marks and logos are protected by the Copyright Act (Cap 130) and the Industrial Property Act of Kenya.
Usage Restriction: No part of the Site may be copied, reproduced, republished, or distributed for any commercial purpose without our express prior written permission.
2. USER REPRESENTATIONS & SECURITY
By using the Site, you represent and warrant that:
All registration information you submit will be true, accurate, current, and complete.
You will maintain the accuracy of such information and promptly update it as necessary.
You have the legal capacity to comply with these Terms of Use.
You are not a minor (under the age of 18 in Kenya), or have received parental permission.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and restricted access to your computer.
3. FORMATION OF CONTRACT & PAYMENTS
A contract is only formed once an order has been accepted and a formal "Order Acceptance" email has been issued. Payment terms include:
Currency: All payments must be made in Kenya Shillings (KES) or for international payments, US Dollar (USD).
Accepted Methods: M-Pesa, major Credit/Debit cards, and authorized digital wallets.
Security Verification: Under the Proceeds of Crime and Anti-Money Laundering Act, we reserve the right to verify the identity of the person making the payment.
Title: Title to products shall not pass to the customer until payment is received in full.
4. DELIVERY & SHIPPING
Delivery timelines are estimates and governed by the following:
We endeavor to deliver goods without undue delay in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.
We are not liable for delays caused by third-party logistics, weather, or "Acts of God."
Risk of loss passes to you upon our delivery of the items to the carrier.
Missing package notifications must be sent to our support team within 48 hours of the "Delivered" status.
5. RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY
If you are not entirely satisfied, our return process is as follows:
A. Eligibility: You have 14 calendar days to return an item. Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original packaging with all Savana Story tags attached.
B. Inspection: Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
C. Processing: Approved refunds are sent to the original method of payment (M-Pesa or Bank) within 30 days.
D. Shipping: Return shipping costs are borne by the customer and are non-refundable.
6. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
You may not access or use the Site for any purpose other than that for which we make it available. Prohibited activities include:
Systematic retrieval of data or other content to create a collection or database.
Attempting to impersonate another user or person.
Using the Site to advertise or offer to sell goods and services.
Engaging in unauthorized framing of or linking to the Site.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Savana Story shall not be liable for:
Indirect, incidental, or special consequential damages.
Loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the Laws of Kenya. Dispute resolution shall follow this hierarchy:
Amicable mediation between both parties.
Submission to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Kenya in Nairobi.
